our history
Our flatbread can be traced all the way back to the end of the 19th century. Then it was baked in a bakery in Gammelstad outside Luleå. The unique flatbread recipe ended up in Piteå in the late 1960s and has since remained within the municipality's borders. Over the years, the bakery has changed both owner and name, but the recipe remains the same.
The unique taste of flatbread has taken us all over the country and we are now in stores from southern Sweden all the way up to the north.
The bread has even found its way to the castle itself and we can be proud to be the northernmost Royal Court Supplier.
sustainability
We work with sustainability.
The bread and biscuits that do not meet our quality requirements, as well as the waste crumbs that arise, become food for a local farmer's sheep and goats.
